On the afternoon of November 15, the School of Finance and Economics invited Prof. Dong Defu, Dean of Marxism Institute, to give a lecture on "Learning and Carrying out the 19th CPC National Congress Spirit" for teachers and students in the lecture hall at 1301 Sanjiang Building.The report was chaired by Chen Yongqing, party secretary of our school.
Starting with the theme and major achievements of the 19th National Congress, Professor Dong made an in-depth interpretation of the spirit of the 19th National Congress from 8 aspects: new achievements, new positioning, new orientation, new conditions, new projects, new highlights and new significance.Professor Dong guided the present students and teachers to deepen the study and reflection on the 19th National Congress from strategic thinking, global perspective, innovative spirit, people's feelings, responsibilities and political awareness.The whole seminar was very lively and colorful. Professor Dong's unique opinions and profound thinking won the unanimous praise of teachers and students at the scene and opened a new perspective for the teachers and students to learn about the spirit of the 19th Congress.
At the end of the report, Chen Yongqing made a concluding statement.He said that the symposium will provide wonderful insights and bring profound inspiration to the present students.He hoped that all the faculty members and students of the school would study hard, conscientiously understand and implement well the spirit of 19th National Congress of the CPC, unify their thoughts and actions with the spirit of 19th National Congress of the CPC, and unite their wisdom and strength to implement the 19th CPC National Congress’s task, and strive to achieve new achievements in the "double first-class" university and high-level university construction.He hoped to achieve a new leap forward.
