On December 27th, Prof. GengYong from Shanghai Jiao Tong University gave a wonderful academic report to the teachers and students in the conference room 1309 of the School of Finance and Economics. The report was hosted by Prof. Yao Hongxing, the associate Dean of the School of Finance and Economics. Some teachers and students of the School of Finance and Economics, the School of Management and the School of Science all attended the report.

Professor Geng Yong’s report title was “How to Apply for the Natural Science Foundation of the Management Department and the Fund’s Checkpoints for Funds”. Professor Geng’s perspective was mainly on how to apply for the Natural Science Foundation of the Ministry of Management and the conclusions of the fund’s conclusions. He emphasized that the natural fund's declaration should reflect the solid foundation and consider the combination with the actual economic and social conditions. Professor Geng encouraged the applicants to consolidate the management of scientific issues by participating in field research with his own scientific research experience. In addition to paper publication and talent training, the fund's completion and acceptance should also pay attention to international cooperation. After the meeting, Professor Geng Yong had an in-depth exchange with teachers and students.

        GengYong, a distinguished professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, has published more than 190 SCI/SSCI search papers in high-impact academic journals such as Nature and Science. Research expertise: resource and environmental management, industrial ecology, and circular economy. The recipient of the Outstanding Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China was selected as the National Talent Project of 100 Million Talents.He is also the Special Allowance of the State Council,the Outstanding Evaluation of the Final Evaluation of the 100 People of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,the 2013 Outstanding Instructor Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Excellent Academic leader.
