Emancipate the mind and promote development, making Remarkable Achievements

    The Department of Financial Management of the School of Finance and Economics is actively implementing the spirit of the conference on emancipating the mind and promoting development. It adheres to the teaching construction ideas of cultivating morality, educating people and Sanquan Education.It unifies thoughts, condenses wisdom, optimizes teaching methods and reforms teaching design to respond to the school's "double-class" and high-level research university construction work. From June 26th to 28th, the Department of Financial Management invited Liu Guifeng, Director of the School Library Research Institute, Liu Qiong, Liu Xiang, Liu Haijun, and Zhang Wei ,who are all the teachers in Department of Discipline Services to give a series of lectures about the “Accounting” information literacy promotion and expansion.They had detailed explanations and operational demonstrations on social network visualization theory and application, CNKI assisted academic research, literature research and topic selection, literature review and paper format layout.
    The lecture was first given by Liu Qiong, the Department of Subject Services of the School Library. Mr. Liu started the theoretical narrative and on-site operation from the four aspects of social network visualization theory, SATI software, Gephi software, and SATI-Gephi. During the lecture process, he interacted with students frequently, patiently answered questions raised by students and guided specific operation steps by showing the teaching pictures of social network visualization common software to students. In the following two days, the research staff of the school library revolved around the writing requirements of academic research and thesis with the guidance documents issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Academic Affairs Office of Jiangsu University, thus deepening the theoretical cognition and practical ability of the students. 
    Through five storm-style studies of three days, students have a certain theoretical foundation and practical ability in the "Internet plus Management Accounting" information literacy.The study can open up their horizons, foster information literacy and improve their interest in learning. The Department of Financial Management also clearly grasps the requirements for cultivating information literacy of college students under the trend of global informationization, and timely adjusts the training program to closely link the development needs of the construction of financial management.
