On July 4th, the school of finance and economics held a promotion meeting on applied economics in conference room 1309, Sanjiang Building. Dean Kong yusheng, vice dean Yao hongxing, vice dean Yan Jun, deputy director Chen haibo, director of international trade department and finance department and all teachers of applied economics of the school of finance and economics attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by professor Hu xuhua, executive vice President of industrial economy research institute and head of applied economics.

In the meeting, yu-sheng Kong, dean of the analysis of the applied economic subject facing the main bottleneck, and points out that the key task is to declare 2020 doctoral degree to raise the level of the discipline of teachers, optimize the structure of teaching staff, thus to quicken up the pace of introducing talents, and give full play to the international platform, cultivating high quality high level achievements; Yao hongxing, vice President of applied economics, pointed out that the discipline of applied economics should pay more attention to the cultivation of excellent graduation papers, and suggested that the application of high-level projects should be carried out in the way of teamwork. Professor Hu xuhua analyzed the mutual promotion relationship between discipline construction and specialty construction, encouraged every teacher of economic and economic discipline to make clear the working direction of the next stage by referring to the requirements of discipline construction indicators, and proposed the key issues that need to be paid more attention to in talent cultivation work according to the development trend of disciplines inside and outside the school. Other teachers present have put forward valuable suggestions on the development of applied economics, work tasks, safeguard paths and so on.
