On July 4th, at the invitation of the school of finance and economics, professor Ouyang zhigang, dean of the institute of industry and finance of East China Jiaotong University, held an academic lecture in the conference room of the school of finance and economics, entitled "factor endowment, local industrial industry selection and development path". The lecture was hosted by professor Kong yusheng, dean of the school of finance and economics. Some leaders, teachers, graduate students and foreign students of the school of finance and economics listened to the lecture.

Ouyang zhigang analyzed the relationship between local industrial development and factor endowment from Lin yifu's northeast industrial structure adjustment strategy, and then designed the theoretical analysis model and econometric analysis method according to the research topic. Finally, he used the data to deeply demonstrate the factor conditions in the selection of 24 industries in each province. Ouyang zhigang's report is simple in depth, which not only introduces the basic thinking of paper writing, but also discusses the basic methods of scientific research. The report struck a chord with the teachers and students.

Ouyang zhigang is a doctor of economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was vice dean and professor of school of economics and management, East China Jiaotong University, and academic leader of applied economics in Jiangxi province. Currently, he is the dean of the institute of industry and finance of East China Jiaotong University, the distinguished professor of "chutian scholars" in hubei province, and the part-time doctoral supervisor of the school of finance, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. In 2010, the winner of "national 100 excellent doctoral dissertations" and the first prize winner of the 6th excellent scientific research award of institutions of higher learning. He has published more than a dozen high-quality papers in top economic and management journals such as China Social Science, Economic Research, Management World, World Economy and Research on Quantitative Economy and Technological Economy. He has also published dozens of articles in other core economic journals, and has achieved fruitful research results.
