On November 10, the qualifying competition of Jiangsu University in the finals of the national college business elite competition was held in the Central Laboratory of the school of Finance and Economics.

Dean Wu Mengyun made a speech first, highly affirmed the early efforts of the seven groups of contestants and instructors who were promoted to the finals, stressed that the cultivation and improvement of undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship ability is the focus and highlight of student training in the future, and put forward requirements and hopes for the future competition organization of the innovation practice training camp of the School of Finance and Economics.

Around the topics of green beverage bottle recycling, campus smart waste treatment, aquaculture water quality monitoring, solving insomnia problems, green fruit and vegetable monitoring and smart classroom promotion, seven groups of contestants had a fierce competition to report on the technical features and highlights, core business model and profit path of their respective projects.

The qualifying competition was strictly evaluated according to the scoring standard of the finals. The judges invited Shen Hui, deputy director of the student affairs office, Jia Zhihong, section chief of the teaching affairs office, Wang Hua of the school of teacher education, Chen Haibo, vice Dean of the school of Finance and Economics, Li dudui and Zhang Mingliang. The judges put forward valuable suggestions on the integration mechanism of economic and social benefits of the project, the impact and constraints of the project implementation scheme, etc.
