On July 7, the graduate supervisor meeting of the school of Finance and Economics was held in conference room 1309. The meeting was presided over by Vice Dean Chen Haibo and attended by Wu Mengyun, Dean of the School of Finance and Economics, and all graduate supervisors.

Vice Dean Chen Haibo led all graduate supervisors to study the standards for sampling inspection and evaluation of master's and doctoral dissertations in Jiangsu Province, the standards for evaluating excellent doctoral and master's dissertations in Jiangsu Province and other relevant documents, and the spirit of the notice. At the same time, he analyzed the quality of graduate students in the School of Finance and Economics, asked graduate supervisors to learn new documents, and earnestly implemented the supervisor responsibility system, effectively improving the quality of postgraduate training.

Dr. Wang Jian, director of the International Education Center, introduced the new requirements for overseas graduate students from enrollment, training to degree-awarding, and shared some thoughts on the system and norms to improve the training quality of overseas graduate students.

In her concluding speech, dean Wu Mengyun analyzed the submission of doctoral and master's theses of the School of Finance and Economics in recent five years and the approval of provincial and university excellence. At the same time, she points out the shortcomings and problems in the training process. She encourages all graduate supervisors to strive to improve the training quality of graduate students and cultivate high-level talents with both morality and ability.
